Forensic Fun offers a unique curriculum to enrich and enhance your science lessons. Created by scientists with over twenty years of combined experience in multiple forensic fields, students will learn the actual techniques used everyday in forensic science laboratories.

Forensic Science combines basic principles of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Through our prepared lessons and hands-on activities, students will delve into the exciting world of applied forensic science, strengthening their knowledge of scientific principles, practicing critical thinking skills and enhancing elements of Art, History, Language, and Writing.

Hands-on activities cover areas such as: The History of Forensic Science, Crime Scene Sketching, DNA, Latent Prints (fingerprints), Questioned Documents(handwriting analysis), Trace Evidence(hair, physical matching, shoe prints) and more!

Our Company

Forensic Fun is a Texas-based company providing one-of-a-kind forensic programs. Our goal is to provide a hands-on forensic experience that allows kids the opportunity feel like a real life CSI. We are committed to bringing our customers an entertaining and unique experience that they cannot get from anyone else.

Our Staff

Rebecca graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science and minors in Chemistry and Speech Communication. She began her career as a chemist working for two private companies. In 2005, Rebecca began her forensic career working as a forensic scientist in the Toxicology section of a state crime laboratory. By 2007, Rebecca began working in her current position as a trace evidence analyst. Rebecca performs laboratory work examining various types of trace evidence including hairs, fibers, shoe/tire impressions, and glass. She also routinely performs crime scene investigations and testifies as an expert witness in court when needed. Rebecca has taught several forensic courses and given many forensic presentations to a variety of groups including kids, students, recruits, and other law enforcement personnel.

Brandi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University in 1998. She began her scientific career in 1998 with the Institute of Developmental and Molecular Biology at Texas A&M University before applying her expertise to forensic DNA in a state crime laboratory. As a forensic scientist, she has experience in crime scene investigation, serological screening of evidence, DNA analysis, and expert testimony. In addition to her laboratory work, Brandi has taught numerous continuing education classes to varied audiences including law enforcement and high school and elementary students. Brandi is also a trained Bloodstain Pattern Analyst. Currently, she works as a Forensic DNA Scientist with a public crime laboratory and is a Senior Associate with Henderson Forensics.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Science in Pharmacy with a focus in Forensic DNA and Serology from the University of Florida. She has been working with DNA for over 10 years. She began her scientific career as a research assistant analyzing human and animal tissues for genetic markers and proteins associated with cancer. In 2002 her interest in applied sciences drew her to the forensic field. She currently heads the Forensic DNA services at an international laboratory. In addition to her laboratory work examining evidence and DNA analysis, she routinely performs crime scene investigations and testifies as an expert witness. She also teaches continuing education classes about forensic DNA to law enforcement agencies, students, lawyers, and the judiciary. She is also a trained Bloodstain Pattern Analyst and a Senior Associate with Henderson Forensics.
